Unreal Tournament 3 is exactly what it promises. The game is gorgeous and fast-paced fun. The developers have succeeded in keeping the original Unreal Tournament feel with extremely well-designed characters, weapons and maps. Graphically the game is beautiful, managing to play at 1900x1200 smoothly.

There’s an almost overwhelming amount of content packed into Unreal Tournament 3.Dozens of maps, mutators, and several excellent modes are available out of the box for your fragging pleasure, and the action is as fast and tight as fans expect out of this lauded franchise.Front-end depth in terms of unlockables, stat-tracking, and social features may be lacking compared to other modern games like Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4, but the brilliant gameplay is a showstopper on its own.
The DarkWalker, Warfare and the Stinger. That's why you should buy Unreal Tournament 3, Epic's fourth game in its premier PC twitch FPS series. Apart from that, it's very similar to UT 2004. This is no bad thing. It's certainly the best Unreal Tournament game in years, but those expecting a complete revamp will be sorely disappointed.
Epic today released a beta version of patch 1.01 for Unreal Tournament 3 to a select group of people, and with it attached the huge list of changes included with the 181MB update.
If nothing else, Unreal Tournament III is a game faithful to its franchise. The combat is as tight as any FPS fragfest out today, the graphics are bleeding-edge, and it's loaded with a ton of gameplay modes that can be played online or off against some of the toughest AI bots around. UT3's got a lot of game, and most of it's pretty kickass.
UT3 offers exactly what its predecessors did to make it so popular: preposterous action at blindingly fast speeds. Warfare mode is an excellent addition to the series, there are all the smaller scale but still very much significant changes, like the hoverboards, warfare orbs, and slight variations to weapon functionality that work to keep the game from getting stale. It's still one of the best shooters on the market, even if it seems to be bumping against the boundaries of its potential.
Unreal Tournament 3 probably shouldn't feel as fresh and as exciting as it does. When you get down to it, UT3 doesn't change a lot of the things that you liked about Unreal Tournament 2004.
One of the best competitive shooting series returns for another installment in Unreal Tournament III. Like games past, the latest Unreal features spectacular graphics, highly sophisticated artificial intelligence and extremely fast paced gameplay. Of course, all these fantastic features have somewhat unreal system requirements, but that's to be expected from high-end shooters.
