"There are some good minigames in Mario Party 8, but the overly familiar, chance-heavy board game wrapper gets in their way."

Death, taxes and Mario Party. Nintendo's annual party game featuring everyone's favorite Italian plumber is just one of those constants in life... so long as Nintendo keeps making them that is. And considering Mario Party 8's performance thus far, Nintendo has no reason to stop anytime soon. A little more tidbit on the growth and expansion of the Mario Party 8 game. Interesting snipit - With over 300k sold so far in the U.S. alone, there's no reason to believe that the success won't continue in Europe and Japan, reaching and perhaps exceeding the sales heights of its predecessors.

"Every Mario Partyis fun on some level -- show me someone who doesn't like board or minigames and I'll show you a miserable, burnt-out old geezer of a gamer. Trust us...that's not us. But watching us play Mario Party 8, you'd think we've given up on videogames -- and life -- altogether."
