"To tie in with the launch of Devil May Cry 4, the first volume of the DMC animated series will be released in the US by ADV films on February 5. It'll be $26.96, or if you'd prefer to fork out for something with a less puzzling price point, it comes bundled with the special edition of the game."

Japan gets DMC4 PS3 bundle

Kotaku - December 20, 2007

Submitted by ixaarii (444) at 12:39AM PST on December 20, 2007

"What sells in Japan? That's right. Hardware bundles. So come January 31, Japan will be getting another hardware bundle, this one pairing Devil May Cry 4 with the 40GB PS3. Oh, you'll also get a Blu-Ray full of what sounds like (hey, Ash is on holidays, I'm doing my best) Devil May Cry 4 gameplay footage, cut together to form a story reel. It'll sell for ¥47,800, and you can get the PS3 in both colours (black, ceramic white)."

EuroGamer Preview "It certainly isn't revolutionary, however - there's nothing here in gameplay terms that you couldn't have done on the PS2 - but as an early next-gen update to an existing franchise, it certainly scores highly for looking nice and featuring tight, well-implemented game mechanics. Probably not a system-seller, then - but definitely one to look forward to for the prospective PS3 owners in the audience."

IGN Preview "Following the incredible demo, which lasted about 25 minutes, Kobayashi revealed another secret: Dante would indeed be playable within Devil May Cry 4, and he would have his standard weapons available to him. After smashing our way through various creatures and making them beg for mercy, it made us want to play more."

Joystiq hands-on: Devil May Cry 4 (PS3)

Joystiq - January 9, 2008

From what we've seen, the game has been polished so much we could almost see our faces in it. It's clear that DMC4 has benefited from being pushed back to early '08, if only because it now has the Q1 stage all to itself.

Devil May Cry 4 started life on PC, not PS3

It's time to lay some truth down about Devil May Cry 4. Although it was originally planned as a PS3 exclusive, some may find it startling that development wasn't even started using any PS3-related equipment. Development began and grew using a PC engine

Gamespy Preview "DMC 4 is a looker. If you ask us, it's the difficulty that will make or break this sequel. Hopefully it won't be the snorefest that the second game was and will surpass everything we loved about the first and third games."

New Devil May Cry 4 details from TGS

IGN.com - September 21, 2007

Submitted by rogue_nine82 (758) at 7:01AM PST on September 27, 2007

From IGN - esterday, we mentioned that the floor demo at this year's TGS for Devil May Cry 4 isn't particularly new by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, it's the exact same build that we've been playing for months at various press events. What we didn't know is that Capcom was showcasing a new trailer with footage that hadn't been released before of the title, which also divulges a number of secrets.
