"Electronic Arts Inc (ERTS.O: Quote, Profile, Research), the world's biggest video game publisher, said on Monday it will delay "Army of Two" to early next year, saying it needed more time to polish the military combat game."

"It's been led on Xbox 360 and we put it on the PS3. It's because we have more experience in that medium. The PS3 is fairly new with a lot of development stuff. But as far as the gameplay goes on both consoles it's the same. There are no differences."

Electronic Arts invited TeamXbox to visit to its Northern California headquarters today to take a look at the near-final Army of Two. Executive Editor Tom Price and Contributing Editor Andy Eddy suited up and went through all the drills that EA threw at us.

You can do some April Fool's Day unwinding tomorrow with a demo for Army of Two hitting Xbox Live. According to producer Matt Turner, the demo will include the training area of the game as well as the first level. Turner also details some of the forthcoming DLC, saying, "1 new multiplayer map arriving as well as 2 new campaign maps in the not too distant future."

A report on Area Games, translated by Kotaku, says EA’s Army of Two has been refused classification by the German ratings body USK. When contacted by Next-Gen EA confirmed that “Army of Two is currently unrated in Germany”. The publisher refused to be drawn on whether it plans to submit a toned down version of the title to the USK for classification, but added that it is “in discussions with the ratings body to review next steps for its release”.

As a skeptic going into this game, I have a rough view of what this game should be. With numerous delays plaguing this game for over a year, you can’t help but wonder how this title will turn out.
