Yes, that's your chin that's twelve feet off the ground and that's our chunky fist propping it up. Sho-ryu-ken! You know what Street Fighter's all about, from the first baby steps mashing the SNES pad to the intricate magic of SF III's parry system - it's all about knocking people out of their socks. And Street Fighter IV is going to knock a hell of a lot of socks off. Oh yes.

1Up.com released the first screenshots of the game on December 6, 2007 confirming series staples: Ken Masters, Ryu, Chun-Li, and Dhalsim would be in the character roster. The article also confirmed that the game will feature 3D graphics; although the action will remain on a single 2D plane (a technique reffered to as 2.5D). In this respect Street Fighter IV's design structure is similar to Capcom's Clover Studios developed franchise Viewtiful Joe, which also utilized 2.5D design.

Leaked scans of the newest issue have already hit 2ch, by way of Korean gaming site Ruliweb, showing off the original eight from Street Fighter II will return. Guile, Blanka, Zangief, Dhalsim, E. Honda and Chun-Li join Ken and Ryu, all of whom look very familiar—perhaps a bit too familiar.
