This is for the UK release date only.

The article says: "The game was originally scheduled for release on September 26[...]" That was the original UK release date. Stop panicking.

I would like to point out that this article is referring to this game's UK release date. The article didn't make this very clear. As far as I know, the North American release date is still August 14.
