  Further evidence that Sony can't continue to bleed cash over the PS3 without consequence. Selling the facility for 100 billion yen will help out in the short term, but the cut backs in future chip development could be a sign that execs have decided that they can't take another big console risk (PS3 R&D ate up a lot of money).

  Financial indicators and strategic plans show Sony selling off Cell processor production lines and cutting research budgets for the Cell's successor. Could this be an early sign that Sony is looking to leave the game console business?
