Amazon of UK recently changed the listings for it's two system versions of Grand Theft Auto IV, the next big title in the franchise from Rockstar Games. For the PS3, it lists the release as April 25, 2008. For the Xbox 360, it lists the release as March 31, 2008. Could the PS3 version be seeing a delay?

RE: GTA4 to be released on X360 before PS3?Interesting to note that the April 25th date for the PS3 version has been listed as such for at least a month. Looking at the GTA IV discussion page at Wiki it was noted as APR 25 2008 as early as Oct 16 2007.
So...this article isn't exactly accurate to say that both listings have changed recently...for at least the last month it has listed the PS3 version as Apr 25.

I don't think so...I think GTA4 was delayed from 2007 in the first place to attempt to release both versions at the same time because the PS3 version was taking too long. It now appears that Rockstar doesn't want to delay the 360 version past that point just because the PS3 development is ridiculously hard and costly.[ Contributor ] [ Level 4 ] [ Rank: 2220 ]bids

The US version of Amazon has Apr 30th listed for both.
The CDN version of Amazon has Apr 1 listed for both.
The German version of Amazon has Mar 30 2008 for both.
So basically Amazon doesn't seem to know and I don't think much faith needs to be put into this at the moment.
