@Just_Ben, The discussion of GTA IV is in both parts - not just part 1. As they discuss the impact of the DLC and what-not in this part also.
@sagexsdx, There obviously will be a significant number of Sony fans that will go from the PS2 to the PS3, but I doubt that Sony will be able to capitalize on the success of the PS2 to push the PS3 to those average gamers that just want to play the games that they like and will go over to the 360 or Wii if they find games they like on those consoles.
Interesting is that he still thinks that PS2 owners will migrate to PS3. As if the average Joe does mind his next console is from Sony. I mean, it is still like analyst think that former PS2 owner could not go Wii exclusive..
I confess not sure about Pachters numbers either. I think he is basing them on a trip to an electrical store and being told to by a PS3 if he wants to get the best out of his Telly.
It was very interesting listening to the discussion with regards to GTA IV in particular the view that GTA is considered a PS brand. I am not sure I prescribe to that view, especially as GTA has been available in a lot of formats for a long time now.
It seems we are still waiting for all these PS2 owners to pledge allegiance to one console or another.
@felipedmoreira, You may want to add to the summary that the video is about more than just the April hardware numbers (that it is about GTA IV and how each version will perform).
