Electronic Arts has revealed that game sales for Sony platforms far outweighed its rivals across the three months, with the PlayStation 2 leading the way on 166 million units, followed by the PlayStation 3 on 152 million. The Xbox 360 managed 128 million units by comparison, with the Wii a relatively meagre 75 million units.

Right now on Amazon (UK site) I have HD DVD beating Blu Ray because at number 43 we have the HD DVD version of Atonement and at 44 the highest placed Blu Ray at 44 with something with Aliens and Predators.
Of course the fact the copy of Atonement is being sold for £4.98 might have something to do with that.
What the EA stats tell me is we are missing some key facts and they appear cherry picked or EA is missing out on lots of revenue from the larger install base of the 360.[ Oracle ] [ Level 30 ] [ Rank: 60 ]bids

It should be remembered that EA developed the Orange Box on PS3 (rather than just publishing it) and released it in the last quarter. Not only did they release more software on PS3 that quarter but they will have got a better cut of the royalties out of a reasonably successful property as a result.[ Oracle ] [ Level 21 ] [ Rank: 291 ]bids
