GH: World Tour for Wii will support DLC that can be played from the SD Card. Not just the user-created songs, but commercially-available content as well. I think this announcement pretty much kills Rock Band Wii.[ Guru ] [ Level 18 ] [ Rank: 538 ]bids

Many of the concerns of Wii owners have been addressed by Activision in developing Guitar Hero World Tour on the Wii it seems like. There is going to be DLC, online 8-player multiplayer, and the best thing of all is that it is going to ship with stereo sound (the interviewer seriously did ask to make sure).
By appearances, I would say that on the Wii, Guitar World Tour is going to be much better than Rock Band in most regards. I see GHWT doing better than Rock Band on the Wii for sure - no doubt about it.[ Oracle ] [ Level 20 ] [ Rank: 294 ]bids

Yep, that's what I meant by saying the concerns of Wii owners - storage space is one large concern.
Rock Band Wii is pretty much going to get killed by GH: World Tour. EA and Harmonix will look like they were trying to get a quick cash-in on Wii (which they kind of are). I don't suspect that the timing of the unveil of this info was coincidence - right before the release of Rock Band Wii. I don't suspect many people will purchase Rock Band Wii over Guitar Hero: World Tour once the latter is released - specially since GH already has a dedicated fan base on the Wii.
