The official Lionhead forums have exploded into an Internet drama with unhappy fans of Fable II's co-op mode shouting in rage at staff. To make matters worse, a Lionhead staff member posted a picture of handbags which further enraged the community.
The main issue players have with Fable II is how poorly executed the co-op is. As it stands, you can't use your own created character and you can't take any earned items back into your single player game.

Since I am short on this stock (both Futures and GLS), I am more confident with my short decision every time I heard about bad news of this game. Enraging the customer is ALWAYS a bad move, for any kind of company. i dont understand why there is such backlash. the coop is everything that was promised. it was NEVER promised that you'd be taking in your own character to someone else's world. it was ALWAYS said it was going to be mercenary/henchman.
also, the people who are giving bad word of mouth are, again, the vocal minority. i dont think this backlash is going to have that much effect on the sales of this game. but that's just my opinion
