Fireteam Bravo 2 plays much like the original PSP third-person tactical shooter. The player takes the role of Sandman, an elite US Navy SEAL, sent to a fictional country occupied by paramilitary forces. You are accompanied by a computer controlled partner. The single-player campaign includes 14 missions with a variety of objectives, such as rescuing hostages, collecting intelligence, destroying or sabotaging the enemy. There is a point system for accomplishing secondary objectives that can be cashed in to receive new weapons and other aid.
As with other SOCOM games, Fireteam Bravo 2 features a refined multiplayer experience. This edition features 16-player online play and real-time voice chat. There are 12 maps and seven modes.
The game is released in conjunction with SOCOM US Navy Seals: Combined Assault (PS2) and works in complement over cross talk. Both games feature Navy SEAL missions to the fictional nation of Adjikistan and completing missions in one campaign will affect the missions on the other.

10I think this game is a "hold" now because the December numbers did significantly better than November. The game sold 171,000 copies in Dec compared to 42,500 copies in Nov. That's a pretty big growth rate. I don't know if this game will continue to sell as the future of the PSP is pretty mirky. This game may have just been a popular stocking stuffer. SOCOM Fire Team Bravo 2 is at a total of 213,500 copies sold now.

NA sales are now at 273,500 copies, with 44,750 coming in January. Sales are still pretty strong. I think sales for this game are pretty US centric though.
