No, if you want to forcast the future, its never bad to look back in the past. GC is the GameCube, the last Nintendo console. Look at the Top 3 of the list in matter of sales. There is Brawl, theres Kart and there is Sunshine. Those where the Top 3. If you think about that, Nintendo is shooting big time at the moment, Galaxy was "just" released, Brawl and Kart is coming in the first half of 08. In addition there is Wii Fit. Nintendo brings 4 "high profile" games in matter of sales (although Wii Fit is only expected to sell that much) in 6 Month. I mean look at all 4 games, currently all of them are expected to sell more than 10 Millions. They targeting the entire Market (from Hardcore to extreme casual).
If SE is right, Nintendo is releasing 4 games that are expected to have sales like Halo (over time) in 6 Month.
Thats why I hope they upped production of the Wii pretty big, because total these games should drive sales of the Wii heavy. We will see in Feb what Nintendo is able to ship, but I say it will look crazy: Begin of Feb. Brawl is coming to Japan: Insane Wii sales, March: US.
I don't think 2 Million/Month will be enough to cover demand.
