Further to the numbers, i have found a new source as of August 15th. (Link) providing more recent numbers.
Funcom says its recently released (May 20th) MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures currently boasts over 415,000 customers.
Funcom categorizes a "customer" as players "who are either subscribers or are playing in the first 30 days included in the sale of the box."
The game sold-in (to retail and digitally) 1.2 million units, and sold through (customers who have entered game client key and billing info) 800,000 copies to customers.
Funcom added, "[The] average playtime per player has been lower than expected.
So it has sold 800k copies, and appears to have almost no legs whatsoever, based on my previous post. I say again, the only thing that can save it is release in Asia, although that is a very crowded MMO market and this is a very western styled game so i cannot foresee major success there. This stock price still needs to come down quite a way in my opinion.
