And one last thing - for all my fellow shorters out there - the time-trust is generally a good thing - as it keeps people constantly bullish on things you are shorting.
Why is that good? Well, ultimately the biggest way to send a stock tumbling (aside from the "Big Players" joining together and crushing it) - is for investors to dump it. When reality ultimately sets in that a game isn't going to do as well as predicted, you want the people who invested in the stock to sell it instead of just ignoring it and leaving the Exchange forever (this is less of an issue when actual $$$ is involed - sorry Europeans, I can't do the Pound/Euro sign).
On that note - I think I might have a good solution to this "bloated stock syndrome". I noticed that the CPU-automated buy/sell quotes are for roughly 70-75K DKP a level. That means even a little guy can affect a stock's price by maxing out their 250K/350K DKP limits.
If the automated levels increased to 150K or even 200K DKP, I think it would put more pressure on investors and keep things in check.
Also, I think that instead of just handing out money for gaining community levels - submitting content should give an increase to the "diversification rule" - so community level 7 is allowed to invest, say, 75% of their net worth. Far-fetched, and probably not the best idea, but I get upset when I have funds lying around that I can't dump into a "sure thing".
Though, I understand why creating and handing out more and more DKP is useful to the site.
