@wrangler_smoked, I don't think you need complex preference to short, I believe you can do it using basic. Just enter the shares you want to sell (even if you don't any in the stock). Later on when the stock is valued as low as you think it can go, buy back your shares at the lower price. Although I highly recommend migrating over to the Advanced Trading preference, it will make you a better trader by being able to see all the offers out there & you can submit orders to buy or sell at a certain price. On the simExchange it is what to do if you think a forecast is too high (a stock is overvalued). Sell high, buy low.
