It comes as no surprise to me that Nintendo once had an eye on this game. It really has "Wii" written all over it. That being said, I don't think this game will do as well as it should on the PS3. I could see my non-gamer parents playing this, but there's absolutely no way they are going to pay $600 for it. Then Sony is left trying to sell this to the MGS and Final Fantasy fans.
It's a shame really, because this looks like a really fun game, and could possibly help revitalize the dying genre that is platforming.
