What does everyone think about guitar hero vs rock band? any bets on which is better? think they can co-exist in the same market?
This reminds me of the dance dance revolution crazy, a lot of other developers tried to copy but they all failed and the market only supported one ddr style game.
The futures are overvalued together. Maybe the 360 version is right, than the PS3+Wii is to high. Maybe the Wii is right, than the 360+PS3 is to high. As I laid out, this market is predicting roughly 1 Million copys sold of GH III (together) in 4 days. That seems just to high to me. Maybe there is a reason I don't see yet for that, but it seems just to high for me. 500-750 copies sounds reasonable to me (for PS2, PS3, Wii, 360 together)
I am the only one who thinks the GH III stocks are getting heavy bullish? We have 210 k for the Wii 105K for the PS3 and 360k for the 360. Comparing the lifetime stocks these future should mean something about 300k for the PS2. That sums up to nearly 1 Million GH III sold in 4 days just in NA. I know that VGC has a margin of error, but lets look how good the series has done with GHII for the PS2:
So the first two weeks where 375k. Keep in mind that those numbers are US+CA. So VGC has GH II about 338k for the first two weeks (8 days). Lets say they are +-10 % away from NPD (whats the normal range for Games the NPD numbers are already known)
Could somebody explain to me, why the market is prediction such a growth? That game had a lower price point, because the guitar could be reused from the first game (o.k. can also know for PS2 and 360 but not wireless). It is not that I would deny that it could be happening, but what is the reason that so many people are seeing such a growth on the game?
The current Metacritic price for this game is claiming it will get a better metacritic review score than any Guitar Hero game released. I have doubts that Neversoft can craft as good a game as Harmonix did, especially in their first attempt.
Does everyone think the Guitar Hero game Futures will meet their current figures in 6 days, or more accurately 5 days on the market (Oct 29th is a Monday and games usually arrive on Tuesdays)?
