Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hryb, better known via his popular weblog as Major Nelson, is reporting that Microsoft has issued a new backwards compatibility update for Xbox 360.
This latest update, which enables the affected Xbox titles to be played on Xbox 360, is available as a free downloadable, and according to Major Nelson, raises the number of original Xbox games that can be played on Xbox 360 to over 300.
