@lstormy10, I wasn't saying there aren't exclusives, I know there are a lot of exclusives, but even I who am obsessed about games and constantly researching them have to think rather hard to remember them which says to me there aren't really big anticipated exclusives. Too Human imho could go both ways and I don't expect too much from it neither in terms of buzz or mass appeal, while GTA4 extra content... well, I don't have numbers supporting me though I've gotten the impression that generally addons & extensions aren't super huge and/or very special.
About your comment about the game content on the 360 next year, it is not up to only third party and Fable 2 next year (of course next year will probably not be as big on the 360 as this year). There are a number of other current exclusives slated to hit next year at this time. These include Too Human and the extra GTA4 content that will probably see part of it released by the end of the year if GTA4 arrives in the first half of 2008 as currently planned. There are a handful of other exclusives (or exclusive extra conent) coming to the 360 next year also.
After seeing this I'm starting to think 360 is not doing as great as I was thinking. I was expecting those developers to continue to develop exclusively, if not by free will then by some agreements but if Pachter sees maybe even Mass Effect, not the sequel, going to ps3, and convinced Activision will go multiplatform also... outchies. They mention Halo wars but our stock isn't doing so hot on it... so is it completely up to third party and Fable next year. That leaves their only differentiator that I can see for pricing and that could be troublesome with sony manufacturing skils combined with improved value perception of the bluray as more tvs go HD. 2008 isn't looking so hot, it seems to me. I used to be very convinced that Mass Effect, Gears & Project Gotham were tied in through contract to 360 and their developers have to choose between abandoning a good franchise name and going multiplatform... but now i'm not so much anymore.
