The biggest All Formats No1 ever ‘Grand Theft Auto IV’ from Rockstar/Take 2 puts a stop to Nintendo’s ‘Wii Fit’ workout, replacing it at the top and outselling it by over 9 to 1.
Released across Xbox 360 and PS3, GTA IV almost breaks the 1m unit barrier in under a week, recording an estimated total market figure of 926,000 (£39.9m) over 5 days.

They have a revised first day estimate of 631K. Earlier on they pointed to a 55:45 split in favour of the 360 version. Using the revised estimate, that would mean 509K for the 360 and 416K for the PS3 in one week.
The PS3 is in a much stronger position relative to the 360 in the UK than it is in the US. i.e. the US split will be bigger due to the install base differential and it being the 360's flagship market.
Also using the figures referenced in the link above, Wii fit did 175K last week and 100K this.
General consensus seems to be that 360 hardware moved as well as several catalogue titles popped up on the charts.

At the time there were probably 5m+ or so PS2's in circulation at the time though. Combined PS360 is only just over 3m in the UK right now I'd say.
