Microsoft's entertainment division shipped 1.2 million Xbox 360s in the quarter, and posted a $130 million loss on $1.2 billion in revenue.
Xbox 360 hardware shipments were 1.2M for the quarter, a slight drop from 1.3M in the same quarter last year. The operating result for the entertainment division was a loss of $130 million on revenue of $1.19 billion, compared to a loss of $171 million on revenue of $1.59 billion in Q4 2008. Microsoft has shipped 31.4m Xbox 360s worldwide till June 2009.

I read with interest some comments there with people asking if Nintendo is in it for the profit, Sony pushed bluray, why is MS enduring another console with losses.
