"You tell me "Please don't take offense by this" and then blatantly neglect my opinion and arguments (many back up with data) and tell me that they are "plain wrong"? I will take offense because, even if I disagree with someone, I don't tell them that their opinion is "plain wrong". Such disrespect is not needed in this debate, attack the ideas or what is being said, not the person."
Are you serious? or are you deliberately quoting me out of context for a laugh? Lets take a look at this sentence as a whole: "Please don't take offense by this, but nearly everything you've written about this game has been circumstantial at best, and just plain wrong at worst." (Note that I never attacked you personally, rather attacking "nearly everthing you've written about this game".)
Now, I never wrote that your opinions and arguments were "plain wrong", rather that you have written things that, at worst, have been plain wrong. Example: Your sales figures of killer7 in Japan. The sales figures of Psychonauts are probably also wrong. Please look at this Link, as to why they are probably wrong. The sales figures also fail to mention what platform the sales figures are based on.
Perhaps you do not agree with my use of circumstantial, but what I consider circumstantial, is your link between eccentricity in games and poor sales. For the record, I don't think there is anything wrong with circumstantial reasoning, especially not given the context of analyzing potential videogame sales. What I was trying to show, is that you have not shown any direct proof, as to why NMH will be a commercial failure.
To be honest, I don't particularly care about a healthy environment on the exchange, but I never made a personal attack. Everything I wrote was directed at what you have written, and not at your character.
