what you say is true but my argument about them needing to boost sales is that people aren't really buying PS3 games. third party developers aren't seeing the returns necessary to validate the extra effort required to make ps3 versions.
we still hear about these problems today. EA recently said theyre still getting use to doing work on the PS3. gta iv was partially delayed due to the ps3. PS3 ports are getting the can too. Frontlines was canceled (though i don't expect much from the game anyway) for example.
im just saying that having more systems out there and more people buying games would help convince software makers that the ps3 is worth working on
