Standard Hardware, not much resource taking OS (Like Windows). The downside will be that it is that it can not be sold at a loss. So either you go by the Nintendo way (no power) or you have a nice price for a console (600$+?). The upside for the consumer? Most likely cheaper games (no license fees). The downside: No one buying content (like MS and Sony is doing).
