I would say the PS3 is already doing pretty well here, the UK games market seems to be in fairly rude health. I think GTA:IV will give it a boost but the recent price cut on the 360 creates a very compelling offer for those who wanted to "Jump in" right now, it's cheaper than a Wii.
I expect them to be more or less neck and neck for the rest of the year.
As for the DLC, $50m is pretty much unprecedented. They've been waving about it since 2006 and I don't think they're dumb enough to pay that much money and make that much noise only for it to bite them on the ass later. Most of the exclusive content Microsoft have made a lot of noise about has stayed that way.
