Software sales are a bit lower but inline with what I expected. With one exception being GT5, but I don't know if Sony release the sale stats for digital distribution. I expected sales be higher, and they might have been through PSN.
With that said, Hardware numbers are really, really surprising. Wii is doing good, in line with expectation. However, PS3 and Xbox 360 sales -- sigh, I expected at worst possible scenario a 5% boost for X360 from March and at least 25% for PS3.
Given the momentum PS3 had at the start of year, with release of GTA4 and looming release of MGS4... I really didn't expect to see such drop. Still, Sony over all did pretty good on hardware level, PS2 and surprisingly PSP have strong numbers.
It will be interesting to see May 2008 NPD numbers.
