I find the comments by this Nvidia VP to be naive in nature. People will continue to develop PC-exclusive games in the future - however, they will be different in nature compared to past PC-exclusive games that have been developed in large numbers such as FPS and RTS games. RTS games still have their primary home on the PC and many are still developed exclusively for the PC. He also misses the fact that new genres and sources of games are becoming the types of games that are developed PC-exclusive such as many indie titles (though more are making the jump to consoles via digital distribution), casual games (such as flash-based browser games and other free desktop-based titles), and MMOs still find their largest (and most of the time, exclusive) home on the PC. There will always be PC-exclusive games as long as the PC is a viable gaming platform - the shape and form that these PC exclusives will take is what will change.
