No, we're talking about new games here...and some games can require video cards that cost more than an entire console! Also, the PC industry has never really dealt with piracy. Online-focused games used an effective key system (Blizzard did this a decade ago) and yet publishers still shy away from using online verification to stop the widespread piracy. It's no surprise that PC gaming has fallen into the shadows of console gaming.
