@vGInfidel, I think the situation may be that Nintendo is worried about easier piracy with adding adding additional storage. Unfortunately this comes at the expense of the consumers who do need more storage. They could just make a larger amount of storage built into Wiis, but they find no reason to lower their profits when Wii keeps selling so well. It is too bad they did not have the foresight to gauge how much storage would be needed, or maybe they did but wanted to shoot for as much profit as they could on the hardware.
