@ixaarii, First, I don't really agree with Pacter's "No PS4 in the future" statement. Second, Intel and Andy Groove get to where they are today by focusing on their semiconductor expertise. If they diversify into console, they are going to have much less profit, so their stock price will go down.
I don't think Intel will suicide (goes chapter 11) by entering into console business, but I do believe their profitability / profit margin are going to suffer big time.
Third : Even if Internet PC is a reality, the margin enjoyed in this "commodity" business is slim. <5%, or even <3% is the norm. Hence, see my point no 2.
