250gb would invoke just about all the Fair use policies in the UK that is for sure. I am all you can eat but even I am pretty sure they would not be happy with 250 from a large portion of its userbase.
They are only just gettings to grips with services such as the BBCi player and its copy cats.
The discussion here at the moment is how do we charge back to companies like the BBC. This says to me any model that has such large requirements on bandwidth will certainly bring with it more controversy. After all the providers pay for the bandwidth consumed even if the end user does not, so this will have to be passed back someplace up or down the line.
