I doubt many of you have heard of him, so there is a link to his Mobygames page (I don't think he has a wikipedia page). As you can see, nothing really spectacular. Does anyone know of any other games that he worked on?
From my (a gamer's) perspective, I think this is very good news. After releasing numerous remakes and ports and announcing that many games would be released in the "Final Fantasy XIII" series, I (and many other people) started to lose faith in Square Enix. They were always known for reaping all that they could get from their main series and not focusing on new IP's, but it seemed then that they had taken it too far.
However, this game has somewhat renewed my faith in the company. Here's a new IP being made by a near unknown developer that appears to be a break from the RPG norm. Lets hope Square Enix really gets behind this game.
Well, that's the end of my rant.
Square Enix is hold a "party" soon, in which they release news about games and the like. I'd expect some more concrete details to be released then.
