They're supposedly working on smaller die sizes and better heatsinks, but I don't know how soon those are going to be in production machines.
I honestly think EB is overstating just a touch, given that their market is people who play a lot of games, yet aren't as informed or disciplined to avoid the chain (since they seem to have a negative standing to many gamers). Still, I wouldn't be surprised to see the actual number hover around 20%, which is still very bad any way you shake it. The console really has to be very good to survive in the public eye despite all of these gaping issues.
