I am not sure how popular Brain Age did in these different territories but we should keep in mind that Brain Age 2 will probably follow the usual pattern for sequels to successful games and outsell it by a good percentage.
The install base has grown as has the brand name of Brain Age 2.
@Hmmsphil, good question. I expect it to do well, but 25 million? Even the 16 million I shorted it at seems way too high. I'd put it in the 12 million neighborhood, at best.

So in Japan, the release of the sequel did not slow down the sales of the original. This is important because itīs certainly possible that Brain Age 3 will be released in the future.
