Limited-Edition “Deep Red” PSP sure sounds like this bundle is a limited edition bundle, and will not significantly increase the sales # of GOW : COO (unless the limited edition is like Halo 3 limited edition, which, IMO, is not limited at all).
where is the announcement of GOW : CoO PSP pack ? When will this bundle be available in US ?
If there is a bundle, I agree that the sales performance will be very good (compared to without bundle). Whether it will reach 2 Million (like Daxter) or not depend on the detail of the bundle, and whther there is any competing (official) PSP bundle at the same time.
and also a quick reminder that it was announced today that it would be bundled in a PSP pack. look at what the bundle did for Daxter's numbers ("2 million units sold" announcement a few weeks back)
@Gaara42, It would sell more because its the single best title on the system, far above the competition. Also at a time when people are looking for a solid PSP game, since one hasn't been released since last year. Not to mention the effect the bundle will have. Daxter sold over 2 million...
@Gaara42, To follow up Gaara's comments, the PSP in general sees poorer sales than the PS2 and PS3 does, even relative to it's install base, in fact it generally has downright pathetic sales, no way will a PSP title match a PS2 title.
God of War 2 was delisted at 195.08 DKP. Why would a PSP game, released when the series is not in the public spotlight as much as it two predecessors on a system with a much smaller install base (than the PS2 games) sell nearly 400,000 more copies? This stock price is overvalued, the recent review scores won't automatically translate into stellar sales.
The most obvious criticisms are that the story is short (between 5-6 hours the first time through)and that the game is missing some of the features from other God of War games. It offers multiple reasons to replay it (I'm currently at over 25 hours all added up, between playing a second time -- where you get to keep everything you unlocked the first time -- and playing on God Mode difficulty, which is almost as challenging as in past games).

Sorry for the mega linking guys. My first time with the link. I thought it was self contained.
It's a link to the press release for the Daxter & Star Wars bundling, marketed as "limited edition"
