I wonder. Who is putting a thick wall (100K shares at 10.5 = 1.05 Million worth of DKP) of short for this stock ? Are this game going to do much, much worse than 105 sales in March ?
"Probably the best single-player dungeon crawler we'll see on the DS for some time. Game balance is great, the game looks beautiful, and there's even some really fun writing hidden beneath the youth/casual storylin"
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates isn’t the best Square Enix product on DS, but it’s very impressive nonetheless. Take the original design of the Crystal Chronicles series on Cube, streamline it for a single player experience, and then rebuild the multiplayer from the ground up, and you’ve basically got what Ring of Fates has to offer.
"The trip offered a unique opportunity to find out exactly how Square Enix works. The company has never before invited western game journalists into its headquarters; never before let outsiders in to see how it keeps coming up with one blockbuster after another.
SE's head office is housed in a fairly unassuming building. It's big, sure, but there is little to suggest, from the outside, that it's home to one of the indisputable powerhouses of game creation."
We wanted to like Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles on GameCube, honestly we did... but the combination of frustrating game mechanics, a preposterously convoluted multiplayer setup and not-really-Final-Fantasy gameplay left a sour taste in our mouths -- a taste that its successor Ring of Fates seems likely to wash away. We've spent several hours with the final U.S. version of the portable RPG mini-epic and find it to be an improvement over the original in practically every way that counts.
I mentioned this a long while ago and tried to short it, but ended up getting outbid by someone. Glad to see people finally agree this stock needs to go down.
