@frogcrusher "In the end this stock is truly going to be a long buy. Once the game is finally released in Japan and the US all those 'make a quick buck' types will really wish they stuck around.
I agree. At this price it's practically a bargain.
I think what happened is that a lot of people saw that the stock hit the 320 mark a lot of those 'make money fast' types bailed out and started causing a trend.
Final Fantasy games have a long history of success on most platforms. I own most of the FF games released in the US and I will continue to buy them. In the end this stock is truly going to be a long buy. Once the game is finally released in Japan and the US all those 'make a quick buck' types will really wish they stuck around.
Then again, there might be a good amount of people shorting this stock. I personally feel that shorting this would be a mistake.
I'm surprised this stock is dropping. Final Fantasy games in Japan, and the rest of the world to an extent, usually sell like crazy. There's a massive install base for the DS already as well. If this IPO was for the Wii, I could understand these numbers.
There will be no online co-op because of DS limitations (lag and unable to do voice chat like other less demanding WFC games).
Crafting will be more useful than in the original.
It will be a more traditional Final Fantasy experience in single player.
