My estimate is that this stock is undervalued by about a million. I think it could easily sell 2 million.
My equation looks like this: Wii + Lego + Star Wars = 2 Million Mother's Basements
I have heard nothing but good things about the Lego Star Wars series from die hard 360 owners, I can only imagine that is easily translated to kids and adults alike on the wii.
There's an phenomenal synergy between the Lego, Star Wars and Wii brands that most marketing mash-ups only dream of attaining.
It doesn't hurt that the game is fun for 3 and 30 year olds alike. This one is a sure 1.5-2 million seller over the next year or two (bargain bins by then)
Ok, what are we talking about here. This game will sell like wild fire over a long period of time. The wii will continue to expand and as it does this game will follow it. Star Wars, god bless it, is not waning anytime soon and the appeal of this game to children, star wars fans and action game fans all at the same time will only boost its sales potential.
No doubt the wii version wil incorporate some very interesting controls and more than likely allow for a conventional control scheme as well. The game is so chock full of content that it will totally be worth even a fifty dollar price tag. That price will eventually lower to thirty dollars or less (if it doesn't start around there) at which point it will be picked up as an easy, obvious and fun choice for kids and star wars fans alike.
There's no reason for this stock not to at least double in the next few days and potentailly do much more in the long run.
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga will be appearing on all next gen consoles, and the DS. It will not be a simple rehash of the previous games, but will include new characters, features, and levels for the game, including a re-creation of Episode II's flying car chase sequence with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in pursuit of bounty hunter Zam Wessell.
There are more details in the article.
Last week LucasArts announced that a new addition to the LEGO Star Wars franchise was coming this fall. Initial data, was scarce, but a now an update hopefully clears things up a bit.
- Adds new levels, new characters and new features to the fun, creativity and tongue-in-cheek humor that made LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game and LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy such huge hits.
