@ReyBrujo, It is NOT possible that Rock Band (X360) has 705K sales in Dec 07. Top 10 Dec 07 cut of at 613K (Mario & Sonic Wii), so Rock Band X360 sales should be lower than that.
If you want to argue that the Top 10 is based on revenue, not based on unit, remember that Rock Band Price is higher than Mario & Sonic.
At most, Rock Band X360 Dec 07 is 600K, so either : 1 those 1 million is shipped, 2 PS3 has higher ratio (maybe 55/45 or something like that) or 3 1 Million is Nov + Dec.
In fact, if you read the article yourself, you should note this : The latest NPD figures, quoted in a release from Microsoft, show that Rock Band has sold 463,000 units for the Xbox 360 and 174,000 units for the PS3. This is in addition to the total 382,000 units across both platforms sold in November.

I would also like to add that this means Rock Band sold already over a million copies. If December attach rate (63/37 for Xbox 360/PS3) is similar to November (which sold 382,000 combined), it could mean Xbox 360 sold around 705,000, while PS3 sold around 300,000.
Harmonix and parent company MTV Games today announced that they have sold more than 2.5 million downloadable songs for the game through the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network.
Seems the editors of Xbox.com made a small mistake and accidentially posted the Rock Band content for the next two weeks. They quickly took it down, but the internet (as usual) was faster.
This week's charts, with data taken from January 10th, 2008, show a restocked Rock Band pulling ahead of the bundled Guitar Hero III in sales across multiple platforms.
