I had a short on Prof. Layton. It went down, I covered it. Sorry, I personal don't see a big profit on it right know, I made my 30% already and think the price is in the right ballpark.
If you don't want to take more, it is alright, I just thought I ask (and make public who is going against this one).
No 1.5 DKP is to risky for me, sorry. It may fall in that range, but that means no profit, hell of a risk :o)
I just realized that you don't have position on "Prof. Layton" Feb 08. If you are willing to short them (at 10 DKP price point), I am willing to buy them (with my meager money).
I put the buy order at 10.02 and 10, at 10K stock each order. I can put more buy order if you wanted to :).
Please understand that I am not saying this to goad or belittle you, but just pointing out other stock that I am willing to go long on, and their price point (since I didn't want to take more on this wipeout stock).
@Just_Ben, Not really (at the current price, which mean only 40% MOS). I am testing the water on this probable opportunity (after the big sharp price decrease).
I only have 400K DKP worth of investment in this stock (and yet it still show up on my profile :D).
Previously I was short on this, but at the current price, it is interesting. BUT, since I mispredict Sonic Riders (Wii) Feb sales by 50%, I am treading cautiously on this one.
I will get onboard IF the price is, say, 1.5 DKP (and I have 70%+ Margin of Safety, which is my requirement for risky investment). Are you willing to sell them to me at that price ? :)
I think someone with high networth (or several someone with significant networth) think that this game will not sell well, probably from some channel check or something. I am not aware of any news on this game, so it is probably fact that "generally PSP games didn't sell well".
I have never seen a 50% drop in a day, unless it is during IPO. However, since I profited handsomely from it, I could not really complain :D.
Wipeout Pulse on PSP improved accessibility through a structured single-player campaign, freely selectable A.I. difficulty and the game's "Zone" mode, which forced players to focus solely on steering the game's hovercrafts rather than accelerating on top of steering. Custom MP3 soundtracks and JPEG photo-taking, plus "no-brainers" like autosaving and custom controls. Players can personalize the game through the ship-skin editor and creating custom Grid campaigns, and player stat tracking.
Massive amount of shares traded on this stock today and a large drop, little news beyond positive reports from GDC and relatively good reviews, is there a substantial reason for the large drop in price or a general aversion to the possibility of a PSP title selling 100k copies in a single month?
""Add to this equation a staggering variety of weapons (with accompanying cryptic icons) all capable of reducing your fellow competitors to fused hunks of flaming track detritus, a masterfully produced techno soundtrack and some clever online features and you've got a game that has essentially taken up permanent residence in our PSPs.
WipEout Pulse is the new racer to own on the PSP. It feels better, plays better, sounds better and looks better than every other racer on the system. Hell, it's better than certain next-gen racers that we dare not mention. Sure, it’s not a massive reinvention of the series. But with almost three years free of the brain-frying WipEout experience, we’re just happy to have something new which recaptures the glory days of old.
