Thats good advice and exactly what I am doing with a particular stock at the moment but i dont think that peoples opinions in the comments section really influence the stock price, unless it is hard data and even then it may not have an effect.
In the past i have made explanations, to you specifically on a couple of occasions, about my position and thoughts on a stock and it doesnt have much effect, only someone determined to drive the price somewhere with their DKP or hard figures will truely affect the price. I happen to have both up my sleeve on another stock at the moment :)
Although during an IPO stage it may have some more effect.
Thanks for sharing your thought on this stock. However, next time, I suggest you wait until after the stock has gone through the IPO phase before doing this. You will stand to get more profit out of your investment if you don't discuss too much things during IPO phase.
Since you mentioned those factors, it will be quite hard for players who KNEW about those factors (done their research or homework, like you) to "get profit" from players who DIDN'T KNEW about them(because they didn't do research or homework).
I'll just voice my opinion here that there is now way that this will sell as much as Call of Duty 4. First of all, it's being developed my Treyarch, which isn't a bad developer, but they are definitely not as good as Infinity Ward. Second of all, it's ANOTHER World War 2 game. A WWII shooter to be specific. The genre has been played out for at least 2 years, if not more. Thirdly, it may incorporate co-op and some other new features, but there is no way that it will appeal to as many people as CoD 4. CoD 4 was revolutionary for the franchise and shooters in general, this game does seem like it will make such waves as CoD 4. Besides, loads of people already have CoD 4 and will say: "Well, why do I need to get this, I already have CoD 4, and this is in World War II with old weapons, etc."
There are a couple other factors why this should not sell as much as CoD 4, but I would make my guess that a reasonable price is at 350 - 550 DKP, possibly a little higher.
I just don't think that the strength of the Call of Duty brand will be enough to carry this one through as much as CoD 4, especially with the strength of Gears of War 2 (as one major IP, among others) coming out this fall as well.
Yea, I know he said in that in his original statement, i think my source even mentions his mistake, so of course you should believe him. Yours was just the first post i came across that mentioned the PS2 version so i used that as an example for Lstormy rather than search for his original statement. Didn't mean anything by it :)
Mushashi, - This game was announced for 6 systems (DS,PS2,PS3,PC,X360 and Wii), unless Microsoft can afford to compensate for several million sales on the other systems, this game will be multiplatform.
@vGInfidel, I never saw any people really assuming that this would come to the PS2 - I think everyone knows that the big FPS titles are not coming to PS2 any longer.
By now, you already know that Call of Duty is indeed coming back, though not in the Modern Warfare variety you've come to know and love. You know, that edition which sold over ten million copies and was developed by another studio. No, Activision has handed the reins back to Treyarch to create Call of Duty: World at War, which returns the franchise to the WWII genre, albeit in a new theater: The Pacific. Find everything we know about Call of Duty 5, err, Call of Duty: World at War.

Well, here at IPO phase 2, it seems we both stand to make a profit though.
