You can add .0001 DKP to this stock, because I think I'm going to go pick this up. I loved Kirby on the NES, and this looks to be in the same spirit. -Daedelus
@Powertrade, thank you for the tip. I've got the part you explained down pretty well, but still learning how and when to buy shares of stocks in large numbers. I just need to learn when to sell, sometimes I hold onto shares to long, thanks again for the help.
Gaara, you start making a profit when the stock price goes above the price you bought the stock at. For example, if you bought the stock at 100 DKP, an the stock is now worth 105 DKP, you've made a 5% profit.
How much DKP you actually made depends on the number of shares you bought. If you bought 1 share, then you made 5 DKP (105 DKP - 100 DKP). If you bought 2 shares, then you made 10 DKP. If you bought 100 shares, then you made 500 DKP. Does that make sense to you?
This is sort of a beginners question, but when people buy shares of stocks, like how many shares are bought to turn a profit. I seem to have a lot of litle stocks that return me a small, barley noticable profit; so not sure how many shares of stock I should buy.
Thanks guys, I thought I would be fighting it out for a long time before anyone ever got the #1 slot. Cheers to KultofCows for developing the such a great site in so short a time.
I'm betting you're sitting on a bigger position of Kirby than the rest of us, too. Anymore buying and Zukaus just gets further ahead. I wonder if the rankings has an effect on how people trade. There are a lot of interesting studies that can be done on this.
I was partially invested in this stock before the new hit of the surprise sales numbers, was going to invest more but was wary of this title; didn't know if it would really catch on with consumers.
In my opinion Monk's estimate is spot on. This title could reach 2 million in life time sales easily. Sales of this game so far already total 1.09 million even though the game has only been in release for one month in the US and two months in Japan. Combine that with an upcoming March 1st European release and you have almost a lock to go over 1.5 million in just the next two months. Sales of the DS itself also remain very strong and should continue to carry this title.
I remain long on shares of Kirby: Squeak Squad (DS)
