It'd be a damn, dirty lie to say that the next-gen Liberty City didn't look great, but in our recent demo we quickly settled back into our comfort zone and everything felt very GTA again. That said, Rockstar has hit the nail on the head where the real estate is concerned; for the first time GTA's locale looks, feels and sounds like a realistic city, and not just streets of copycat buildings mixed in with the occasional shop or landmark..........

Sony executives will be happy to hear that Take-Two CEO Benjamin Feder predicts that GTA IV's arrival will have a welcome impact on PS3 sales. He predicts "the release of Grand Theft Auto IV is going to to have a material beneficial impact on sales" on the console.

There won't be a GTA 4 demo, Rockstar has told VideoGamer.com. When asked if there will be a demo Rockstar replied: "I'm sure there won't be. If there was we would have talked about it. With a game like this the guys at Rockstar North will want to spend every minute making the game look great. Most people know the concept of GTA anyway. I don't know that the demo is worth the time and effort."

Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey says the recently delayed next-gen GTA sequel "could conceivably ship 9.5 million units" in its first week, resulting in a sell through of 8.1 million copies for a total of $466 million.
