The Good : - Outstanding technical and artistic visuals. - Combat is intense and gory. - Soundtrack fits the game perfectly............ The Bad : - Very, very little in the way of new gameplay elements. - Can easily be beaten in less than seven hours. - Could have used more puzzles, platforming segments, and bosses.

onto the scene in 2006 with Daxter, a PSP take on the PS2's Jak series, starring everyone's favorite Ottsel. The game was visually stunning for its time, featuring fantastic animation and great overall art design. It also didn't hurt that it was a damn fun title, making it quite the breakout release for the fledgling developer

"For example, a temple level that takes place later on in the game, the team aimed “give a small tease of the temple in the background” in earlier levels, showing just glimpses without a full reveal. That way, Phail-Liff suggested, the player will be aware of the significance of the place by the time he or she arrives."

God of War will use full PSP CPU Speed of 333 mhz

Kotaku - June 25, 2007

Submitted by Animate (241) at 9:59PM PST on June 25, 2007

Basically everything already shown from the game was done using the PSP limited at 222 mhz (like every other PSP game), but they are going to use the full 333 mhz for the final game. They also comment on how they can get 1080P on PSP for graphics not used in real time. Great news for PSP that they're finally using the full CPU speed!

Gamepro Preview

Gamepro - July 13, 2007

Submitted by Makidian (555) at 6:22PM PST on July 13, 2007

GamePro were skeptical about Chains of Olympus. The first God of War for the PSP has a lot to live up to. With the PSP competing against the booming DS, an awesome God of War action game is just what the Sony doctor ordered. But could it possibly be as good as the console games?
