More people around the world bought Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare than any other game in 2007, Activision said today. Citing data from the NPD Group, Chart Track and the GFK Group, the publisher said it has moved more than 7 million copies of the game. COD4 topped NPD's console charts in December, outsold only by the PlayStation 2 version of Guitar Hero III. According to Microsoft's figures. As cited by Activision, COD4 is the No. 1 game on Xbox Live based on unique users.
