"Because really, there hasn't been enough controversy surrounding this game already." There's no PSP Manhunt 2, so I'm putting it here.

IGN Review: 7.7/10.0 Good!

IGN - October 29, 2007

A slight step-down from the previous iteration with the shoddy enemy AI, lower difficulty, and the censorship. "[A]s a whole, Manhunt 2 isn't the tour de force title that will grab your attention and keep you there like the first one did."

A pretty standard "politician hops on video game violence as an issue" article. The interesting thing, I thought, was the assertion that 1/6th of Americans suffer from "serious mental illness". If I know 5 sane people, does that mean I'm the crazy one?

Totilo, Croal on Manhunt 2

Newsweek - June 25, 2007

Submitted by charron (290) at 9:33AM PST on June 25, 2007

A back-and-forth analysis of the controversial game, done by MTV News' Stephen Totilo and Newsweek's N'Gai Croal, including comparison of its controversy to other controversial media works (Natural Born Killers, Taxi Driver). Croal: "Unless they have good reason to believe that this game is an imminent threat to the public order, or that it will in and of itself incite adults to violence, [the BBFC and IFCO's] decision seems to me to be based on taste, and I will never believe in substituting anyone else's tastes for my own."
