Update: No More Heroes sold more than 100k out of 200k shipments in the US since launch, plus in Europe it has more than 160k pre order. Finally they shipped 40k copies in Japan for a total of 400k shipment worldwide and hope for 500k LTD sales worldwide.

NA - 200k
Europe - 160k
Japan - 40k

The combined sales of GC and PS2 versions of Killer 7 in the first month was slightly more than 25k.

That is basically what I meant. So, if anyone has some numbers on Killer7 and how that performed, then I would say that this title will easily outsell those numbers.
In the history of the Wii thus far, the more hardcore games have seen most of their sales during their first 6 months, so by the end of summer, the sales for this title will be essentially over with other than some extra sales as the price goes down and some new Wii owners that may pick up the title.[ Oracle ] [ Level 20 ] [ Rank: 294 ]bids

According to Kotaku, the 100k sell-through is since launch, and 200k copies is shipped in the US. January sales are apparently at 65k. I'm sure someone here that is also from NeoGAF knows more about this figure ;)
65k isn't as good as the previously thought 100k in January, but for a Suda game, for such a niche and poorly-advertised hardcore title for the Wii, 65k is actually good.

My point exactly (I just couldn't find any hard numbers) - this proves and shows that No More Heroes has a wider appeal among gamers.
