Respectfully, that's the same thing they said about the Power Pad and Sega Activator (Oh Eternal Champions, how you crushed my naively high hopes!) On the other hand, my own mother was asking about it the other day....that has to be worth something!
I need to see more before I believe in the Wii-Pad's genre-busting qualities. For me personally, it begs the question, who really needs a computer in place of a work-out tape? Apparently someone does, as millions are sold each year (just for a more pervasive platform called DVD)!
I still don't think we'll see the board used much more than a niche device. I hope I'm wrong though! I love the idea using it to peek around corners in a Wii-FPS to be named later or something to that effect.
